[If memory serves, his son was in Phillie as well.]<BR/><BR/>My first memory of Compuserve was of him and JO discussing barbeque restaurants in Chicago...<BR/><BR/>His _View From Olympus_ got me to start reading Phil Foglio's _xxXxenophile_, a decision I never regretted.<BR/><BR/>He was a character, larger than life. I was saddened a few years back when I learned he had glaucamoa as a side-effect of the diabetes.
