Some notes:
- Although we know little of the actual joining order, Mike at Cosmic Teams suggests the order below. He suggests two "waves", those who knew Atom Girl and those who didn't know she was undercover.
- I'm not quite sure what to do about all of the "quasi-Legionnaires" since in theory everyone is deputized. And how many of the Wanderers joined? I'm not going to include them unless it turns out I need to, though I did include Theena.
- For purposes of this list, I'm assuming that the character was created equally by the writer and penciller (which may not be the case every time).
- As before, my rule of thumb is that if a character has the same name, look, and primary backstory as their earlier counterpart, it's the same character and thus the original creator. If it's clearly inspired by a prior character, but not close enough, then I credit both the original and new creators.
- Again, I used Nightcrawler's listing over at Legion World (his "every Legionnaire, ever") and the Legion Wiki as my starting point.
- While doing these lists, I realize there are a number of non-members from all eras that are important - RJ Brande, some of the Subs, Inferno, both sets of Wanderers, Heroes of Lallor, Uncanny Amazers, Dev-Em, Lady Mysa, etc. I'll figure out later if I need another table for them.
So here's the Post-Infinite Crisis version. It looks small, though; did I forget anyone?

ReplyDeleteThought you'd like to know. :-)
Jonathan Miller
Do you think you should have M'rissey in there as well?
ReplyDeleteI thought about that, but shouldn't he be considered support staff instead of a Legionnaire? I know I have Tenzil here and Chuck Taine on the Post-ZH page, so I might not be accurately applying my "Legionnaire" criteria.
ReplyDeleteGuess I should add the "four new Legionnaires" announced by Shooter and in the latest solicits, too - Night Girl, Gazelle, Sizzle and Turtle.
Well, you've got Theena there. I'd put Theena and M'rissey at about the same level.
ReplyDeleteGazelle, Turtle, Sizzle, and Night Girl are officially mentioned in the solicit as "candidates", which means typically only one will be accepted as a member.
ReplyDeleteTheena was called out in the silhouette roll call that Waid's issue's used. M'rissey hasn't been acknowledged to that level yet (although that could change next issue).
