Is that v4? What's the LSH with Livewire and Sneckie called then?
They never got their own #1. Unless you count The Legion #1, which actually came pretty late in the reboot era.
Eric - the "v" number refers to the volume or series. That was the fourth series to carry the title "Legion of Super-Heroes", thus it's v4.
It has nothing whatsoever to do with which "version" of the Legion people think it might be.
That series continued the numbering through the Zero Hour reboot so it is still part of the "v4" title, though "v4" is commonly used as shorthand for the Giffen/Bierbaum section up through the reboot.
The Reboot/Post-Zero-Hour/Earth-Zero Legion started in LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES (v.4) issue #0.
As Mike says, these are the covers of the first issues of each series, not necessarily issue #1. v.2 started with issue #259.
The numbering system really has little to do with what goes on in the comics, or what's significant to readers and fans.
