Via RAB comes word that long-time Legion fan Mike Valerio has passed away.
Mike was a very active and prominent member of Interlac when I first got involved with Legion fandom, and the people he met through Interlac were instrumental in starting his career as a writer and director.Mark Evanier has more.

Sad to see a fellow Legion fan pass away. LONG LIVE THE LEGION!
I joined Interlac in the mid-seventies, with Mike V., and CAPA-alpha, as well. He was a true fan, a funny, creative spirit, and a wonderful human being.
My time in Interlac was very short, but my friendship with Mike spanned more than 30 years. I wish I still had those old Interlac submissions, to recapture that time. *sigh*
