"Far From Home" - the entire story

Through the magic of file-sharing, I was able to find a copy of the Justice League Unlimited episode 310, "Far From Home", guest-starring the Legion, and over the next several blog entries (summarized below), I'll recap the entire episode with text and screencaps, so if you want to wait until it's on TV in March, you can skip them.

Overall, I was very pleased with the story. There were some good Legion-insider touches and I think Brainiac 5 and Bouncing Boy (the two main characters in the story) were handled about right. I'm glad to see two of the physically weaker Legionnaires save the day.

I also suspect this is a pseudo-pilot for the supposedly-upcoming Legion series. It did a good job of setting up the cast and setting, and if they keep Supergirl they'll have at least one familiar character to the audience.
